Bad girls

Bad girls is such a fabulous book, along side many other Jacqueline Wilson books. What i love about this book is that it relates to the real word, it shows issues that children can go though for example bullying or lack of self-confidence. This book shows how someone with such a miserable life can meet someone and be so happy ! The book bad girls is all about a girl named Mandy, she is a only child and her parents are quite old, Mandy gets picked on at school by a group of girls named Sarah, Melanie and Kim, Kim is the main bully she is the meanest to Mandy, she makes fun of her mum and dad saying that they are ancient and look older than her grandparents. Mandy hates her life until she meets Tanya the foster teen from across the road.
Find out the things that Mandy and Tanya get up to and the problems they come across in bad girls.
I recommend this book for ages 7-13 year olds

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is a briliant book, it is such a heart throb! I was in tears reading it because it is so sad, it is based on a true advent it makes it even sader. The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas can be a bit difficult to read so if your not a very strong reader at the moment then maybe read it when you get a little bit older, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas is all about a little boy who moves to Berlin, he has no friends and he does not get on very well with his sister so he is really lonely, he discoves a fence, inside there are lots of different types of people: children, women and men the one thing that they all have in comman is that they are all jews. Bruno the little boy does not know what a jew is and does not understand why those people are on the other side of the fence, he longs to go over the fence and play with all the other children especially one little boy named shmuel.

The ending of the book is very sad but very exciting but you can find that out for yourself :)
